Closing a gap in specialty training
Dermatologic therapies are evolving quickly: new biologics, novel delivery systems, and increasingly complex formulations are reshaping how the specialty treats patients. Pharmacists, sitting at the intersection of clinical dermatology and formulation science, are uniquely positioned to close that gap.
Nearly every clinical specialty has a pharmacist society behind it. Dermatology hasn't, until now. The Society of Dermatology Pharmacists exists to be that professional home: for pharmacists working across clinical dermatology and formulation science, and for the allied professionals and industry partners who work alongside them.

An open arc, still being built
Three concentric arcs move from a deep umber at the center to a warm sand at the rim. The range echoes skin color across every tone, and the traditional layered structure of skin itself: epidermis, dermis, and the tissue beneath. No single shade sits at the center by default, because the range is the point for a Society whose members treat every tone.
The shape also reads as a shield, the language of a credentialing body. The Society isn't one yet, but that's the direction it's building toward. It's left open at the base rather than closed into a circle, on purpose: a finished ring reads as sealed and static, while an open one reads as still being built.
